Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper

Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper Review

Light fluffy popcorn on the stove ... in minutes, without burning to ... excellent. It was recommended by my daughter and I have the spice land - burns for 20 seconds was enough - and we use it regularly. Only very few nuclei left Unpopped. I use a non-GMO popcorn found on the Internet child uses the Amish Popcorn Popper, who came with it. I like fresh popcorn better than chips, and is very hot, if you have a DVD or a bowl of soup to highlight it.

Ithought it was just that I do not like popcorn - was the method of popping. With this popper not have a sore stomach from the popcorn.

This is great.

Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper Specifications

Face it, sometimes the best thing about going out to a movie is the popcorn, those big plump kernels that always seem so much better than what you pop at home. But this simple stovetop popper changes all that. It really does make awesome, fresh-popped corn that might make you start renting videos instead. The sturdy aluminum pan has a clip-on lid with a stay-cool wooden handle. A turn crank on the handle spins the key element: the stainless steel stirring system that keeps the corn moving across the bottom of the pan, for even heat and oil distribution, ensuring the best popping results. The lid has steam vents, to help keep the popcorn dry and crisp. The enclosed booklet is a wonderful resource, with not only clear and detailed instructions, but also dozens of recipes and popcorn history and lore. These are folks who really do know their popcorn, and the results are outstanding. --Cynthia Nims

Whirley Pop Real Theater Popcorn with 6-Quart Stovetop Popcorn Popper

Whirley Pop Real Theater Popcorn with 6-Quart Stovetop Popcorn Popper Review

I find it strange that a prior assessment goes so far as to say that these assessments are wrong.

First of all, I am an ordinary person, mother and wife. Get anything in exchange for this review!

Secondly - as for the negative reviews that this product is cheap and thin, right ... and it is aluminum, which is exactly what we're about to make stove-top popcorn, except that you should not have all night to heat an iron skillet. Moreover, it is the coconut oil in the packages, which is exactly what the theateruse (with my husband is a film for this reason that we use and Wabash Farms Whirley Pop) management products. However, you olive oil, vegetable oil or other products, and you can use small amounts, if you are looking for a healthier popcorn.

Where Whirley Pop goes in our family, is by far our favorite "thing", and there are people gadget! We use our regular. We use the kernel everyday and you label brand flavacol cinema popcorn salt purchased online, as well as a great"Bath" of coconut oil, and get great results. We started this way, after using all our packages within the first week.

The reason I'm on Amazon now looking at this page because I'm ordering as a gift for someone.

I promise you, like us and all our friends can testify, if you try to Whirley Pop, nothing else can match it (even some movie theaters - where we are disappointed with their popcorn, because there are simply not up to Whirley Pop.)

If you buy thisProduced (and used correctly - I'm not sure what others have done, she is convinced that there is "inadequate" as some old reviews said) - I promise that I'll be hooked!

Whirley Pop Real Theater Popcorn with 6-Quart Stovetop Popcorn Popper Overview

The most significant difference between popping corn in an average saucepot and in the Whirley-Pop is that the latter's aluminum construction heats the corn to a high temperature faster and uses less oil. Instead of shaking the pot across a burner to facilitate popping, just turn the wooden hand crank attached to the aluminum lid. The crank rotates a stirring mechanism that moves the kernels along the pot bottom, distributing unpopped kernels evenly and preventing popped corn from burning. The lid clamps securely to the base, though one end remains open as a steam/pour vent. Wear oven mitts when popping: while the vent prevents popped corn from escaping, hot oil may spit through. When the crank gets difficult to turn, popping is complete. The folks at Wabash Valley Farms, makers of this popcorn popper, are Midwestern popcorn growers, and it's clear they know and love their corn. The information booklet they include with the popper provides not only interesting popcorn recipes but also a comprehensive history of the ancient art of popping corn. The popper also comes with four packets of movie-style popcorn. --Carol Gnojewski

Back to Basics Stainless-Steel Stove-Top Popcorn Popper

Back to Basics Stainless-Steel Stove-Top Popcorn Popper Review

OK, so this product offers, its only purpose ... to create the quality of popcorn. Ensure that the proposed coverage is imperfect, but if you put the stylus into the hole and the inside of the tank to face with one hand and push the lid away from you move to this hole with the other hand, the master 's putting a whole - to-cover-back-on-the-pan problem that affects people more than the quality of this article seems to produce popcorn.

For my needs, I'm just trying to get the best tasteplain popcorn. I use extra virgin coconut oil with the lowest possible temperature setting of my glass cooktop. The cold-pressed oil has a strong taste of coconut, making it perfect for popcorn. You can enter a refined coconut oil, but will be in bad taste. I used the electric Stir Crazy Popper, but as the Teflon is, I'm not going. More you can not control the temperature of an electric Popper, so that if you give your attention to the kind of healthy popcorn to keep aStainless steel products like this.

Regarding the healthiest oil to use, that is a subjective debate. Some say that coconut oil is the way to go, but many people who claim otherwise because of its high content of saturated fatty acids. The dangers are not consistent with the same, very little hydrogenation of non-hydrogenated oil, when it is heated. Rather, it is in relation to the smoke point of oil. Olive oil is excellent for use at room temperature. Once you exceed the smoke point of olive oil in cookingYou lose all the benefits to health. Extra Virgin coconut oil is better, but you must do your best to not more than the smoke point, so my preference for a stove Popper, which you can control the temperature of the burner. Refined coconut oil has a higher smoke, but there is no option useful if you are popping.

And now for steel whole discussion. Think about what the lack of evidence CNN mainstream research title of Alzheimer's do. Go ahead and get aFootbath, and see what the points blacks from the body, namely heavy metals, which has just detoxified by the body. The evidence is sufficient for me. Despite the evidence (or) the lack of it, I will bare stainless steel over aluminum any day of the week. Well, here's my dilemma. Sure, the pot is made of stainless steel, but what about the cover? When I clean the product, I finished the whole place with a dry paper towel. And what I noticed? Gray / black dustadopted by the towel. So I washed a couple of times and the powder was found. Now I have a bag of popcorn and before washing, took the first paper towel (no dust cover) and then inside the edge of the plate. Guess what I found? More of the same powder. Sounds like the oxidation of aluminum occurs when the lid meets the edge of the plate. This of course is my subjective view, is simply not proven. I want my fix of food waste and in my body? OfOf course not. I give the popcorn for this great product offers, why? Not in the near future, that's for sure. Unless the black powder is actually visible on my popcorn.

For those who asked in the past, this dish does not have an aluminum / stainless steel coated flat base that is perfectly flat on my stove top. There are no rocking at all. I can not say if this works on an induction cooktop.

Back to Basics PC17551 Aluminum Stovetop 6-Quart Popcorn Popper

Back to Basics PC17551 Aluminum Stovetop 6-Quart Popcorn Popper Review

The problems with the lid on Popper as in other reviews are true. I do not think its a great deal. I can still achieve his (there is a small hole on one side, a rod that fits into the upper, and a clip with the wooden handle on the opposite side of the plate, you can see in the picture), the clip snaps well but the flutter cap imperfect line after the first week of use. My crank sticks sometimes, I have a little 'more in the handle, but togethernothing that popcorn is not completely prevented. As for the skirts do not get the lid down, I have to wear oven mitts to keep my left hand down and the handle with my left hand. The lids do not stay just below and touching the edge of the plate, but this gap is not as big as the cover is still close. Oil flies out of the holes and seams in the center of the lid when the popping starts first (which begins after the lid does not fit exactly the way they should not) but because II had Mitt Mitt just to cover the holes with. I love this popper, but I see that whirly-pop has better rating then in terms of coverage when I go back to the origins of the model to replace it I will try to compare them. I will never buy anything but a Stove Top Popper never like this time, I also buy these again if it means that do not always have to eat microwave popcorn again. You will receive a brush to clean the top, after the oil has built up over time through use, depending on howoften you use it. Notice how even bad reviews say, the popcorn seems .... nice if you're a man of things work exactly as you say, should be the company (what if you think that nothing can ever really, at least not always), then it probably will be disappointed with the cover, but if you're not a very flexible, it is still say, this product is worth it. I think I'm gonna try a model in stainless steel to come anyway.

Whirley-Pop Theater Gift Set with Stovetop Popcorn Popper Review

You know for my husband for Christmas. It used to be a being like a child, and apparently is the same. He never says microwave popcorn again, because it tastes much better. And is much more of an event for children, turning the crank. He complains, however, dropping the lid, when he emptied the popcorn warm in a bowl. Theater popcorn, which came with it is very greasy - but I think it's how you want to be the scene of corn. We seasoned thepopper as recommended, and is easy to clean. It 'fun to experiment with different flavors, and it's nice to control the amount of butter / oil, so as to make it healthier.
