Great, but the public dimension is not correct, the effective diameter of 7.5 inches, 7 inches is not. This difference in size means that the press does not sit on the floor of my 10-inch fry pans.
I did ask via e-mail on grinding Lodge 1 / 4 inch of material from all over the press but not yet heard back.
So be aware that the press has an effective diameter of 7.5 cm, and measure your pans accordingly.
Otherwise, it feels solid and well made.
